UAS 29980 Stereo – 1976

Ilminster -, Somerset, Sue Ryder, 50 pence – 2pm  09-09-09 …
Picked this up thinking it must be some 70s prog-rock thang – in the vain of  Yes or Uriah Heep etc etc – due to the Roger Dean-esque sleeve (turns out to be Rodney Matthews no less!) -on spinning it up – it turns  out to be some mean-funk beaten out on steel-drums – blistering stuff … looks like I stumbled upon a scorcher here – that I somehow feel I should already know  …   classic stuff – and a sample-favorite of the hip-hop community it would seem …..
