Bird Sounds In Close-Up

birdsounds

Unfortunately this record did not have a cool flexi-disc hidden inside it, but at least it did still have it’s original detailed and highly informative insert/leaflet thingy.

This record cost it’s original owner £1.25 at Leo’s. Gosh, I remember Leo’s. My mum used to do the weekly shop there every week. Of course, that building is now a Tesco Metro. So it goes.

  1. Man – I don’t bleedin believe it – this was indeed the record I was planning on posting next and did indeed have the flexi inside !! Seems we have similar tastes in bird-song lps … this one is one of my favorite things to stick on and wonder around the house to …. Mine also has the uber-informative insert …..

Wait however for a later post of a triple 7 inch box-set by the same artist (bet ya can’t wait ….) !!

Nice post – shame I never dot to it first !

  2. and the weirdest part is – i only found the record this morning on a random trawl in Kingswood High Street. fucking eerie, huh..?
