Boogie Bus


Pleased as punch with this one – a sweet selection of delectable disco cuts from ’79, ranging from the familiar/nostalgic to the unfamiliar/educational. Although not a ‘dj mix’ in the modern sense, the set is skilfully assembled via cunning edits and segues to give the impression of constant, bpm-matched flow. Love the ‘sexy bus conductor’ on the cover too…

…but wait a minute – that’s the rear sleeve. The actual front cover looks like this:


One can only speculate how many sales were lost due to this catastrophic error of judgement by Polystar’s design department….
